Sumathi, a famous actress longing for a simple life, accidentally gets off a train in a remote hill village while en route to a film shoot. Caught in heavy rain, she seeks shelter at the home of Madhu, the local estate manager, who initially hesitates but eventually takes her in. As she hides her identity, a landslide cuts off train access for a week, forcing her to stay. Mistaken for Madhu’s wife by his boss, Sumathi finds herself drawn to Madhu.
