This film looks at the work of staff in museums across the United States. The operation of a modern museum is shown: excavation, conservation, exhibition and education. Selected museum objects are shown being handled by professionals from acquisition to exhibition. The installation of the Tutankhamen exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is shown. (ACMI)
