Television dramatisation of the novella by brothers Jules and Edmond Goncourt. The melodramatic romantic story of young Germinie, who has always longed for love and understanding, but has missed out on much in life. From a young age, she served in the service of various people, until she was finally taken in by Miss. She loved her, and to Germinie, Missy was everything.
