Edgar, a lonely, socially awkward immigrant takes care of an apartment for a friend away on vacation. As he visits, he becomes familiar with the absent woman's intimate space. He begins to desire her and anticipate her return. The months go by, the mail piles up and eventually, reality sinks in.
