On December 21, 2012, Hank and Kate decide to go to the mall to pick up their presents for Kate's parents, while Hank is in the middle of shopping, an explosion causes the mall to collapse. When he wakes up he meets some survivors and asks for help from them to find his wife Kate. After finding Kate, they encounter something they did not expect.
