Wen Jie meets and befriends Yang Dan, an actress, at a theater workshop. She also meets her boyfriend, Li Yihuan. A strange emotional vibe develops between the trio, and, when Li Yihuan’s father goes bankrupt, the three new friends leave Beijing on a motorcycle and head to Wen Jie’s hometown.
