A young woman, Dakota, is trying to move on with her life and get away from her past after being rescued from a grim basement, where she was kidnapped and abused by a monstrous man. However, when the normal life she had starts to unravel, Dakota needs to uncover her tormentor and end her nightmare for good, since she fears for her life and is determined to no longer be the victim.
