Tennessee Williams called the sea "the cradle of life." From the Great Pacific Garbage Patch to other vast trash gyres that exist in every ocean on the planet, this environment has become one of destruction caused by humankind's avarice and thoughtlessness. This 16mm dual projection work explores the plight of marine creatures, especially the majestic albatross whose population has become severely affected by the presence of plastic and other man-made ocean waste.
