After her grandson was killed in a police shooting, Donna Hayes found the strength to write about her memories of him and bring him back through story. She realized this process of writing was cathartic & healing, so she developed a process of community-listening and wrote the stories for other families who lost loved ones to police violence. These stories are based off these conversations and performed, filmed & edited by local activists.
