Tae-soo is a middle-aged man who drives taxi during the day and works part-time at a convenience store at night. The business is ruined, the whole family is gone, and he wants to protect his daughter, Ah-ra, like a jewel. As the days go by, Ah-ra becomes as crooked as an adolescent girl, ignoring and embarrassing her father. Meanwhile, Tae-soo, who lives alone in a studio, often wanders in front of a convenience store, saying that Hye-ran, a beautiful young woman, has nowhere to sleep.
