A mistress named Clara who is on the run in Jakarta and her neighbor a young Japanese named Kenji who works in a production house become attracted to each other because of the sounds they hear every day through the walls of their living quarters. Clara works in a cafe that is only open in the afternoon until the morning, she claims to be a film student. The cafe is owned by Dimas, a young man who was abandoned by his fiancé.
