The marriage between Syed Azhar and Maya is not based on love. The mosque that was built is increasingly dilapidated, waiting to collapse. Syed Azhar owes his life to his driver, Alif, who saves him from an accident. Out of a sense of responsibility, Syed Azhar looks after the welfare of Alif's widow, Jannah, and her daughter Aishah. Over time, feelings of love begin to blossom.
