A girl who has a life she doesn't want, with no family present and no friends, receives a birthday present from her grandfather that will take her to a parallel dimension where she can take refuge. Happiness, anguish and loneliness await her behind the hands of an old clock. Already suffocated by her confinement, she receives one last present, a birthday cake. Blowing out the candles, she receives instructions on how to leave this dimension, but also how to enter new ones.
