A middle-aged man, recently separated, wants to dedicate himself to writing, but it results in occasional jobs and nights out that always take longer than desired and not with the best consequences. Nihilism floods him as he tries to get romantically involved with a woman with whom he has always been in love. When she invites him to take a trip to a neighboring country, a new horizon will open up in front of him.
