The story tells of Shah who is determined to elope and marry Mira. When Mira is forced into marriage by her father, Pak Kassim, Shah devises a plan and abducts Mira during the marriage ceremony that is about to take place. Shah is pursued by a gang of car loan collectors, because the car borrowed from his friend has not been paid for four months. At the same time, Mira's brother and sister-in-law are also chasing after them. During the journey, Shah and Mira meet and give a ride to Mak Limah, who slows down their journey.
