Aloma, a modern medieval woman, leaves her peaceful country life in Delta de l'Ebre to go find her brother Artur, with the purpose to bury him in Barcelona. Carrying the corpse, she embarks on a journey along the river in which she must overcome real and imaginary obstacles, as if in a chivalric novel, in a timeless world of magical realism.
