Sean Lee, a young Chinese man, attempts to fast throughout Ramadan this time. In reality, he is doing all this to prove to his girlfriend Sweet's family that he is willing to do anything to demonstrate his sincerity towards her. This includes being willing to fast in order to maintain his relationship with Sweet. Meanwhile, Mak Liza, Sweet's mother, plans to matchmake her daughter with a man named Ropie who is also wealthy in their village. Mak Liza believes that Sweet will be happier marrying a perfect rich man. To achieve her goal of matchmaking Sweet with Ropie, Mak Liza devises various schemes together with Ropie to sabotage Sean Lee's fasting attempt. But will their plans succeed?
