Ánxela, a 26-year-old Galician woman, has been planning her wedding for almost a year with Saúl, who runs an ice cream shop in the city of Santiago de Compostela. Uneducated, but trained in the humble sewing workshop of her mother and aunt, Anxela's life changes forever when a famous Mexican designer calls her to work in her haute couture workshop in Madrid.
