February 2022. At a family dinner in the home of Terentiy Puzyr, tensions are rising: his son-in-law Mykhailo is preparing for war, and Puzyr does not believe him. Daughter Sonya spends the resources of the agricultural company on terrorist defense, and has no grandchildren. On February 24, the explosions mark the beginning of the invasion. Sonya persuades her parents to evacuate, but they refuse. The bridge is closed by the Ukrainian army, and the family is cut off. Russian troops enter the agricultural company. Puzyr is forced to choose between collaboration and protecting the community.
