Amidst the serene hills, Ratul, an ambitious engineer overseeing the construction of a dam, and his friend Bhushan, a retired forest ranger, arrive from the city with plans to seize the ancestral land of the indigenous people. While Ratul is driven by money, his wife, Bibha, finds herself enchanted by the unspoiled beauty of the land and drawn to the companionship of a young local.
