Lissi Strack, a young lawyer, travels with her mother Silvia, the owner of an internationally renowned law firm specializing in insolvency, to the Breton port city of Cancale. When Silvia has a mishap during the trip and is hit by a car driven by the young Alain Demur, she has no choice but to return home. This gives Lissi the chance to step in for Silvia, find an investor on her own, and finally prove herself to her mother.
