Early one morning, Mehmet Ali and his son Yakup set out on foot through the countryside. Although Yakup doesn't quite know where they're going or why, he tries to keep up with his father and literally follows in his footsteps. Mehmet Ali himself is rushing toward his goal, striving to achieve a result that is vital to him. However, the people they meet along the way and the events that unfold gradually lead them astray from their intended path.
