In a rural town in North Wales, mussel harvester Jack has been married to his wife Maggie for over half of his life. He is troubled by his son Tom, who has little interest in the family trade. When Jack crosses paths with Daniel, an itinerant deckhand, their attraction poses an impossible dilemma.
