Amit learns that her biological mother is dying and rushes to the hospital, only to arrive moments too late. Having never opened her adoption file, she is suddenly confronted with the family she never knew, including her estranged father, prosper- a drug addict she hasn’t seen since she was five. Struggling to process the shock of this encounter, Amit returns to live with her adoptive parents on their kibbutz in northern Israel.
