Mati, a six-year-old girl, spends her last day with her foster siblings before being adopted. Guided by her protective older sister Valeria, the children sneak past the park fence and onto the train tracks, where they pass the time flattening pennies. But when Mati finds a dead cat, she insists on spending the day preparing a funeral for it.
