Kazuyuki Tajima strikes up a friendship with his elementary school classmate, Osamu Kuramochi. From that moment on, a dark shadow begins to fall over his life. Following his grandmother's death, his parents divorce, and a rumor drives him out of his hometown. Each time he attempts to start over, Kuramochi reappears in his life.
