This series chronicled the life of Da Yu Er, a princess of the Khorchin tribe who rose to become the Empress of the Qing dynasty in the mid-1600s. She helped guide the newly founded dynasty through the reigns of three emperors. With her wisdom and integrity, Da Yu Er won the admiration and respect of many, including her enemies.
