A young couple, Misha and Anya, are spending their vacation in Vietnam. On the penultimate day of rest, on the eve of departure, Anya disappears after meeting her ex-boyfriend Sugar, whom she thought was dead. Faced with the indifference of the local police, Misha begins an independent search and very soon discovers that the reason for Anya's disappearance lies in her past, which she deliberately hid from him. Having started searching for Anya, Misha meets Captain Tao of the People's Army of Vietnam, who has returned to her hometown to investigate the circumstances of her younger sister's death. Together they go from casual acquaintances to real friends, saving each other from mortal danger.
