When her estranged grandfather dies, Kanon is granted the right to inherit an inn and a coffee shop. She is offered a large sum of money to buy the inn if she gives him the recipe for the signature dish, an egg sandwich. Kanon is at a loss, as she doesn't even remember her grandfather ever cooking, and her grandfather's ghost appears before her.
