Maria is a 10-year-old girl who was born and raised in a circus, where her parents were tightrope walkers. One day, she ends up being forced to live in the city with her grandmother and finds it difficult to remember the past. From her bedroom window, a rope is the only connection between the real world and her imaginary world, a way that she finds to keep her memories so she can move on.
