A strict physics teacher tries to talk her teenage son out of dropping out of school and becoming a professional skateboarder. She makes a bet with him that if she competes in a major skateboarding competition, he will stay in school. Under the tutorship of one of her poorest pupils, she learns to skate, unaware that she's putting her career and reputation at stake.
